Dr. Thorne

I have a wedding I'm working on this month so lots of crafting and chalk boarding has been going on. The good thing about binge crafting is I can do some binge tv watching. Recently while I was knee deep in table charts and out of town welcome bags I had the pleasure of watching Amazon Prime's Dr Thorne.

Julian Fellowes, the creator of my favorite and yours Downton Abbey adapted Anthony Trollope's novel for Amazon Prime.

The story is a familiar one if you like historical fiction. A hero/heroine of inferior birth finds true love despite great obstacles all against a backdrop of gorgeous costumes and the idyllic european countryside.

I won't spoil it for you but if you are a Masterpiece Theatre lover it will most definitely delight you.

I love Masterpiece Theater, Lisa, and I'm sure that I'd love this show. Some of my favorites are Call the Midwife and Doc Martin, and of course, the now ended Downton Abbey.
P. S. Yes, the home and garden show was wonderful. I always enjoy seeng all the beautiful homes and yards. I should've taken more photos!
I hope you're having a great week!

Thank you for sharing Lisa. I'm going to save it for when I'm recovering from surgery next month. Please keep recommendations coming!
