A Fort Worth Craftsman Home Tour

This charming craftsman is located in the historic Fairmont neighborhood of Ft Worth, an area that is nationally recognized.

What a great porch!

I spy old wood floors.

This dining room is a stunner with original builtins and a sparkly chandie.

I'm not feeling' the vanities and would want to replace them but I know The Hubster wouldn't let me paint them.

The kitchen is dreamy!

It even has a barn door. Not sure where it leads because the pantry seems to be on the opposite wall.

Great back yard!

On the new home front we are rapidly nearing the finish line and will close in 3 weeks! Whoo hoo!!!

My pantry screen door is up and I Love it!

Perfectly lovely! When we were first considering moving here I looked a several homes in this marvelous district. Alas the school district kept me from living my dream but when the boy goes off to college.... :)

I never tire of the dark, rich wood. Very lovely and that bathroom; all I can say is wow.

Lisa.. did you happen to catch the show "Yours, Mine, or Ours" a couple of weeks ago? It featured a woman from downtown Mckinney who fell in love with a guy from Preston Hollow. They ended up buying a house in Stonebridge Estates and coincidentally, my husband and I looked at it about 6 years ago. Just wondering if you saw it. Have a great week and I love Ft. Worth.

I love this area, but it is too far away from my grands. Well too far for them to just drop by. I love this house...put it on some acreage and I would believe I was in heaven. It is done beautifully!!! Thanks for sharing!!

Lisa, I hope you're settling in nicely at your new home. Not the most convenient time of year to be moving, I'm sure. Love that pantry with the screen door.
