Range Hoods

One exciting thing for me about the new house is I get to have a range hood! My last home the cooktop was under a window and I had wall ovens. This time around I have a range

So now I need to decide on a range hood.
Range hoods are not only decorative but they serve a much needed function...housing the ventilation insert. The insert is what draws smoke and odors up and out of your house. So let's visit Pinterest to look at some possible choices.
This contemporary look is quite popular now.

it's a very sleek, clean look and can be used in both modern and vintage style kitchens.

Custom metal varieties are another choice. These tend to be either industrial looking or with a curvy French country appearance.

There are more curvy styles.

Or something that resemble a fireplace mantle.

So tell me. What's your favorite style? Which would you choose?

It's Thursday so you know I'm hanging out with the girls at TOHOT!

I think I like that second one with the tile that goes all the way to the ceiling. Pulls in the wall more and not so much focus on here's the range. The copper one is also nice but not sure how fun it would be to clean. Exciting ideas you must be having fun making all these choices.

I like the ones that have a mantel shelf for decorating :) I hope you are Pinning all these posts to a "Building A House" board. All your research would be so helpful to others.

I adore the Mansard shaped ranges that you've shown. It French design at its best!

Also I adored Dr. Thorne and totally binge watched. Hopefully the second season of Poldark will debut soon.

I can see there are lots of choices out there, Lisa! I have a custom pine wood hood at this house and it is super hard to clean and keep the build up of grease off. If you don't do it weekly you will be scraping it with a putty knife. :( At the lakehouse we have ordered a stainless steel hood so it will be interesting!

How fun. I am doing a kitchen for a client and we just had the hood made this week. It will have decorative tile up the sides, the hood is wood, but will be painted. I love all the options. Have fun!!!

Really here are shown various kinds of range hood, and really both are looking good and stylish as a modern age. It is much attractive. Thanks for sharing a large number of range hood with best qualities.

The kitchen range hood is an important, but often overlooked, appliance. A range hood is a fan surrounded by an enclosure designed to capture and remove the air pollution created by the cooking process. While there are many types, shapes, and designs on the market, all range hoods have the same primary function: to keep the kitchen air clean
