I took small baskets from Michael's and Hot glued gold paper straws in the 4 corners. Then I took a honeycomb circle from Target and hot glued that on top of the straws. I made a little map banner that I draped and glued around the "balloon". A small jar filled with pebbles(These tend to be top heavy) provided a place for a small baby's breath arrangement.
They sat on ivory colored tablecloths and burlap toppers along with a small framed scripture.
There was also a small seating area staged with all things baby
It's all in the details!
It's was also the mommy-to-be's birthday!
The hallway going to the restrooms had little lit cubbies randomly placed. They were the perfect spot for baby blocks.
I always like to gift the parents with some sort of wreath or door hanging with the baby's initial or monogram. Later they can hang it on their hospital room door. The mommies always love that idea and it makes finding their room at the hospital so easy!
This adorable letter wreath was from etsy shop Crafts with Love by JEK
To make the sign I had plywood cut to a 4 ft square and painted it white. My sweetheart of a daughter-in-love lettered it for me and I made the tissue paper flowers and hot glued them on. All very inexpensive but high impact.
The venue Event 1013 was located in an old building with beautiful old brick.Perfectly shower worthy!
Thanks for stopping by!
