Easter Baskets Revisited

Now that I have a grand baby I'm revisiting Easter baskets. I took a sabbatical for a bit except for the occasional cd, James Avery bracelet or chocolate bunny. But I'm back now and I'm all in!
I know you remember Martha's baskets.

Does anyone do Easter baskets better than Martha?

I think not, although she has toned it down a bit now that she has grandchildren.

I found some pretties at World Market for you peeps to make your own beautiful baskets!
How adorable are these egg shaped plates?

They come in a set but I think you could divide them up so every little would have their very own plate to have Easter ham on.

And look at the matching basket.

Your BFF would love this cake carrier!

And the tea towel.

Back to the littles! Don't forget books

And sweets!

Lolly please get me a soft lovey to hug!

These precious pint size softies are from Hazel Village

Make an Easter basket for someone special in your life. You've still got time!
It's Thursday so that means it's TOHOT!

I love that cake carrier! You found some wonderful inspiration pics. I'm feeling guilty now because I haven't mailed a gift to Spencer in Oklahoma. Have to get on that early this morning! Happy TOHOT! :)

Everything is so sweet! I don't have Easter at my house, otherwise I'd be indulging in all this sweetness. I love the cake carrier.

I am having fun gathering little boy's items for my grandson who is almost 7 - It's so much fun!! I wish I had Marthas' energy (oh, that's right, she has a "team" - that's what I really need!!)

You have provided us with a wonderful collection of ideas!
Does cooking a big breakfast every morning and handling the carpooling duties count?
I am visiting my grandsons this week.

How is the new house going?
Thank you so much for sharing this with us all at Thoughts of Home on Thursday. We are so glad you are here!

Lisa, I love putting together an Easter basket. A friend and I have been doing this for each other for several years now. It makes me feel like a child again to receive a basket full of surprises, but even more fun to gather special things to put in my friend's basket. My basket arrived in the mail this week, but I'm waiting till Sunday to "unpack" it and savor each special little treat. Thanks for sharing this post. Love seeing Martha's gorgeous baskets.

I NEED that cake carrier~ although I rarely back cakes. Also it's impossible to choose~ do I like the mouse or bird lovely better?

I'm in the limbo years of no current little. Sigh. Someday.

Thank you so much for sharing this lovely post at Thoughts of Home on Thursday. Wishing you and yours a glorious Easter.

I didn't see Peeps. Nobody likes them. The husband filled our girls baskets (even some years as adults) with them and to watch their snarky comments was worth it! Ha. Lovely ideas here. My fav: the green basket.
