Thank you for sharing these! For me it was the basket of silverware. I'm the nerd who would love to polish it and see the design. I inherited two sets from my mother-in-law and polish it every Thanksgiving. This year Tom and I thought we'd be alone and just cook up a simple Turkey with dressing. Then our oldest asked if they could come for a dinner later in the day (after lunch with his family) so now we're cooking, cleaning and creating (hopefully) a beautiful table with polished silver. Daughter said it just doesn't feel right without your touch, mom. Made my heart glad!
