Can't wait! Hear there are to be lots of new characters and romance. Hopefully the season will go by without a funeral.
I have also enjoyed a couple of other British imports. Call the Midwife
is a sweet nostalgic show with a boat load of likable characters and believable story lines.
Father Brown
is another sweet show about a mystery solving Roman Catholic priest. I just love how Father Brown always has an opportunity to witness to the criminal!
And I do hope you received this treasure in your Christmas stocking.
It's Susan Branch's latest book/scrapbook/photo journal all about her (and husband Joe's) recent trip to England. If you enjoy Susan's calendars you will flip over this. It's filled with her darling doodles, Pinterest worthy quotes, and the story behind her and Joe's real life romance!
How wonderful to discover that we are all Anglophiles.;)
Hope your holidays were joy filled and I wish each one of you a happy and prosperous new year!
Let the countdown begin!

OOh I did NOT know about the Susan Branch book! Thank you!
Gave the Susan Branch to my mom for Christmas and she's crazy about it! Can't wait for Downton to start. My husband is looking forward to it too. Have you watched Doc Martin any? I love it!
I have the DVR set! I can't wait! :)
Did you watch The Paradise??? Very good as well. I need to watch the 2 that you mention and the one that Stacey mentions too. Gosh! I'm so far behind. :)
Happy New Year! :)

I'm counting down the hours as well. Call the midwife was loads of fun, I'm wondering if it might continue as well. I've also watched Paradise. I've not seen Father Brown, but I'll have to check it out. Thank you for sharing the news about the Susan Branch book, I'm sure it's delightful.
Smiles,
Carol
Well I am just out of it. I haven't seen any of those shows, maybe because I live in a male dominated household and the closest thing I get to is Duck Dynasty!
Now that Susan Branch book goes on my wish list.
Happy New Year..and yes, it is going to get a great year! God is in control.
I've seen Susan's book and I would really like to have it. She did a beautiful job (as usual). Enjoying DA. Did not know about Father Brown, that looks really good. I love all things BRIT!
