For me it was the ba...Thank you for sharing these! For me it was the basket of silverware. I'm the nerd who would love to polish it and see the design. I inherited two sets from my mother-in-law and polish it every Thanksgiving. This year Tom and I thought we'd be alone and just cook up a simple Turkey with dressing. Then our oldest asked if they could come for a dinner later in the day (after lunch with his family) so now we're cooking, cleaning and creating (hopefully) a beautiful table with polished silver. Daughter said it just doesn't feel right without your touch, mom.
