Valentine's Day is For Girls

A good friend was making homemade valentine's with her youngest daughter when the wee one asked amidst the cloud of glitter,"Mom, how come we're always the ones making valentines for the boys and they never make any for us?". My friend shrugged her shoulders, "Get used to it. Boys don't like crafts."

Oh, you'll get flowers and maybe jewelry if you've been good (or he's had a good month), but to get a real valentine

The kind with glitter and glue

you need your BFF for that. Only she will understand how that red toile heart makes your heart go pitter patter.

Your hubby won't even know what toile is.

My suggestion? Why not have a girls craft night? Invite your best friends and their daughters and craft yourself into a hot glue delirium!

PS. Enjoy the roses.:)
