Safe Within

Elaine and Carson Forsythe are the couple that the rest of us want to be. High school sweethearts with a love that seems to bypass time and space, Carson and Elaine share a love for the ages until the unthinkable happens. Carson's death at the age of forty-nine leaves Elaine reeling. Not only has she lost the love of her life, now her mother in law (the one who has not spoken to her in twenty years and believes that Carson is not the father of their son Mick) has gone and gotten herself arrested. What would Carson do? Elaine struggles to reach out to the mother of the man she loved and wonders if it is finally time to reveal a secret that could set them both free.
Ms. Page's

novel is a wonderful read, filled with southern wit and charm and a hint of mystery. Ms. Page manages to capture the essence of small town southerners in the best possible way, case in point, the delightfully southern Morty. He is the perfect next door neighbor and a not so secret romantic. Hmmm. My lips are sealed. You'll have to read the book to find out how THAT turns out.:)

Lisa...yes there is sooooooooooo much to see in our Great State of Texas. You would love Jefferson if you haven't been. The shops, history, the bed and breakfast places...the ghost walk at night. Discovering Texas is fun, we really do have such different areas of our state.

Have a great summer!!

I know several women who are huge fans of southern fiction and I know they would appreciate that southern wit and charm you mentioned. I'll have to recommend that they pick this up one up.

Thanks for being on the tour!
