Spiritual Sundays

singing birds

Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.
Ephesians 3:20
Commentary: It is important to understand that seasons of blessing are waiting for you to enter into them. You can't go through icy storms without knowing that summer is coming.
Growth or fruitfulness involves times of working, sowing, and tending the ground of our concern. It includes waiting, storms, and setbacks, but ultimately there is increase.
David G.Evans

Thanks go to Charlotte and Ginger for hosting Spiritual Sundays.

Hi Lisa,
Love this scripture. I did not post about an embroidery book but Tricia from Notes of Sincerity did a while back. The book is Doodle Stitching by Aimee Ray. I'm looking for a good one too because I would like to do the count your blessing stitch-a-long (you too?) so let me know if you find one! Have a great day!

I love the Scripture and the quote you shared for SS this week! Every time I am facing a tough ordeal, that's what I try to think, that the Lord is refining something in me, removing any dross...It hurts most of the time, but we are to deal with them with His power, not ours. So...glory be to God! Have a great week sister Lisa. Be strong in the Lord's mighty power.

this is so great. I get impatient and wonder if He forgot what He promised...but He never does. :)

I loved this analogy. I was gone this weekend so I'm running a little behind on reading everyones post today. I'm so glad I read this before work today, thank-you.
