Spiritual Sundays

singing birds

And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.
Hebrews 11:6 NIV

Commentary:Have you struggled to believe God? This is where faith enters the picture. Saving faith looks at the claims of the Bible, and the evidence of an orderly creation. Then taking a leap of faith, it embraces the One who made it happen. God is not an entity or an influence, but a Person easily within reach. Embrace Him as your Savior. Such faith is rewarded with Life!

Thanks to Charlotte and Ginger for hosting Spiritual Sundays.

Happy Sunday!
I'm looking at that OLD picture of me on your "recent visitors" board. That was the first picture I used. I wonder how it got there?
Anyway - have a wonderful day!

I memorized this verse when I was in high school. What along time ago that was. lol The one that went along with it was "Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."
Thank you for sharing again on Spiritual Sundays. I always enjoy your lovely blog.

He is the Author of faith. At times that I feel others don't have faith in Him, I pray for Him to instill faith in their hearts. And mine :) Blessings to you sister and God bless you always.

I notice my wife, Charlotte said she memorized this Scripture when she was in high school. That's when I memorized it also. We attended the same church. Thanks for posting.

Hi Lisa!!!!

o o o This is one of my FAV scriptures.
(don't I say that every time?)

Thank you so much for being such a sweetie to host my button on your blog so we can help new bloggers out there.
I couldn't find your email address to let you know, but the link to the button is incorrect as it links to Tinypic...maybe that is your image hosting server? I'm sure it just needs a simple fix of the html code. Just wanted to let you know.

Have a wonderful week Lisa~

Hi Lisa, thanks so much for the prayer support, it's been a really grueling thing for my husband to have to walk through. His mom is in constant need of encouragement, and she has been fearful and sheltered her whole life. Really prayer is the main thing in seeing her through all this.

HMMM.....I'm thinking... I can't say that I have ever doubted that God existed... but I have doubted the how and why of an answered or (I thought) unanswered prayer. It's my own human
limitation (I think) to understand His complete vision and control over my life. Does that make my faith less? I don't know...
I have to think about this one some more. Thanks! :)

Thanks for stopping by and leaving me your sweet comment!!
