Spiritual Sundays

singing birds

Be careful what you are hearing. The measure [of thought and study] you give [to the truth you hear] will be the measure [of virtue and knowledge] that comes back to you- and more [besides] will be given to you who hear.
Mark 4:24

Commentary: What a great scripture! It tells us that the more time we spend thinking about the Word we read and hear, the more power and ability we will have to do it-the more revelation knowledge we will have about what we have read or heard.
Joyce Meyer

Thanks again to Charlotte and Ginger for hosting Spiritual Sundays.

I saw your post at Stacey's blog and had to come by and say HI. I like your header...many things I enjoy are pictured there.

God is good and it is so nice to glean from His word!

I have enjoyed my visit here today.

Amen sister Lisa! His light is not hidden. His truth is clear. It's us whose understanding is imperfect. But as we obey, we will have a sharper vision and increased understanding. Glory to God! Have a great week ahead and be strong in the Lord's mighty power. God bless.

Blessings Lisa...What a profound insight to this verse from Mark from Joyce Meyer! AMEN! I love that you shared this truth. I even love what RCUBE's wrote...what a blessing to share with us!

May our power and ability increase and be sharper as His Truth is revealed! Glory... halleluia! Your words blessed me so much:

"I love that God can and does use anything or anyone to speak to His children. He knows what each of us needs and what will touch us."

And these words touch me! Thanks & enJOY a Spiritual Sunday!

Amen and Amen!!! To me, there's just nothing like getting into God's word. I receive so many blessings meditating on it. Thank you so much for posting this blog.

PS ~ I'll be looking for the next book you recommend so I can read and participate in your book club. Oh, and thank you for grabbing my button! :)

Lisa, I wanted to let you know my button you placed on your blog isn't right. I don't know how I did it, but I accidentally used my test blog URL instead of my main URL for my blog when I was writing the code. I guess I wasn't paying attention.

I wanted to let you know that I've since fixed it and TESTED it to make sure my button goes to my blog, so you can go ahead and get the correct code, if you'd like. I am so sorry for causing you any inconvenience.

Your friend in Christ,
Georgia
