Commentary: One of the ways we can learn to completely trust that God is a good God is to praise Him for His goodness.Every time we do, it opens up the channels through which that particular aspect of His nature is poured into our hearts. The more you praise God for His goodness, the more you will see it manifested in your life. That's the hidden power of praise.

So true! ... and doesn't it feel wonderful when we "Praise God from whom all blessings flow"! Come to think of it, I've never seen a scowl on a worshiper's face. There's simply no room for anything but joy.

That is indeed true! I used to have a few of Stormie's books...must have given them away, but they were so wonderful and I needed them just at that time. She also came to our church one year, and I purchased a beautiful pin...it is a cross with rhinestones in the center, and I bought a shirt that said "Daughter of the King", which I still have.

I can totally relate to this. I do have a tendency to be negative.... But find that if I start the day thanking God for his good blessings then the rest of the day I see them more easily.
Different things speak to us in different ways at different times. I have never read that scripture that way. In fact, I don't remember ever reading it. Thanks for drawing my attention to it!

Oh most definitely. This was something that He taught me early on, in my growth....even in the circumstances that seem so stressful, there is always something to Praise Him for. Always :)
