The Best Strawberry Shortcake

Tuesdays at the Table

Tasty Tuesday
Image and video hosting by TinyPic

The recipe:
1 can Grands biscuits
2 or 3 tablespoons melted butter
1/4 cup sugar
1 qt strawberries, washed and halved
whipped cream

Open can of biscuits and dip the tops of each one in melted butter. Then dip buttered top in sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake as directed. Serve with berries and whipped cream. These shortcakes are scrumpdilly-icious and super easy. The sugar and butter make a crunchy foil to the cream...just wonderful! I promise!
